Overview
This fintech software organisation is seeking a Senior Java developer who is interested in Microservices and cloud-technology. Joining as a Senior Java developer, you will have a fundamental role in a small development team as they embark on a major greenfield project. The Java team will design and develop a new Microservices platform from the ground-up. This is a full-stack position so it will suit a Senior Java developer with an extensive background in back-end Java system development with some front-end JavaScript experience, ideally with Angular or Vue. The successful Java developer will be joining a dedicated team, building products in the field of financial and legal services. The team follow Agile methodology and TDD processes. This is a busy development environment with short release cycles. The role will offer technical challenges that will keep even the most senior Java developer excited. You will have lots of opportunities to further your career and skills. The business is a flexible employer and they also offer one day remote per week. Requirements: Demonstrable experience in Java development and design Database design, development and data modelling skills Experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of TDD Ideally, some front-end UI experience with Angular or VueJS Microservices experience and knowledge is highly desirable Role located in Altrincham and within a short walk from the tram stop and train station.
