About the Role: Do you have a keen interest in software development and the hunger to learn? We are currently on the look-out for dedicated Junior Android Developer's to help develop and maintain high quality mobile applications for our many clients. This a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps. Responsibilities of a Junior Android Developer: Support the entire application life cycle (concept, design, test, release and support) Understand client's application requirements Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions Design interfaces to improve user experience Perform unit and integration testing before launch Troubleshoot, find bugs and offer appropriate solutions Stay up to date with the latest technology trends Requirements of a Junior Android Developer: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or relevant field; Masters will be appreciated An in-depth knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Objective-C, Swift, Python or Kotlin 12 months in a professional office setting Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude An understanding of programming principles Ability to perform in a team environment Experience of working in an Agile environment is desired Must be able to travel and live within the UK About Us: The App Experts, Ltd. is a London-based mobile app development agency, specialising in iOS, Android and cross-platform solutions.
