Senior Credit Controller

Company Profile The UK’s leading firm of Cost Lawyers. With a client list of over 150 law firms across the country require tight control of its invoicing and debt recovery processes. Working from the office near Stansted we require a full time credit controller. Outline of role Working alongside the Finance Manager, Draftsmen, the COO, CEO and Virtual FD the credit controller role is the guardian of the proforma and invoice process, having oversight of the collectability of every invoice. With KPI’s in place, you will build the necessary relationships to ensure cash is collected on time, to be reinvested into the growth of the company. Requirements - A proven history of credit control/sales ledger management and results - Experience on the job - Regular reporting to the board on top clients, new clients, issues and ad hoc requests - The company use Xero as an accounting package and are currently reviewing the cost management system, therefore flexibility and a demonstratable comfort with software is paramount - An input into the cash flow forecasting with a eye on the detail for income receipts Character Traits - Determined, self starter - Firm - Professional - Confident - Unflappable - Organisational skills - Excellent communication skills - Good Excel skills To Apply Please email your up to date CV stating your current salary, notice period & salary sought IMPORTANT NOTE Our aim is to respond to all successful applications within 5 days.
