Overview
Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our Client based in Stansted for a Senior Inspector to join their Machine Shop team in their Quality Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing company on a Permanent basis with an immediate start Positions available: Senior Inspector Hourly Rate: £17 - £19 per hour. Job Purpose: To assist day to day activities of the Inspection Department Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with inspection procedures and design specifications Accurately measuring of components with various inspection measuring tools Use of CMM with Virtual Dmis software and working to 3D models Producing inspection reports and FAIRs Controlling of non-conformities and MRB activities Approved signatory for release paperwork and other documents Ensuring timely and clear responses to NCR's on Q-Pulse, etc. Continually monitoring the job packs for accuracy and completeness Keeping relevant records up-to-date Assisting training of staff Assisting internal/external customers with their queries Liaising with relevant internal/external customers Ensuring the cleanliness, neatness and orderliness of his/her area of responsibility Performing routine checks on cleanliness and tidiness of the site Continually seeking to improve inspection activities Assisting inspection activities on other sites of the company when required Undertaking special tasks as directed by the senior management Performing any other duties within capabilities as directed by the company Qualification & skills required for this position Previous technical experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment Previous experience in a similar role Knowledge of problem-solving techniques Use of PC and related programmes Strong communication skills Results focus If this sounds like the role for you then apply now
