Overview

A Magento eCommerce Developer is required to join a Senior Team for one of our clients who is growing and expanding globally. You will have an opportunity to become a Team Lead within 6-12 months - become the face of Tech Department, lead tech decisions and engage with stakeholders. Initially, your Magento expertise will be required to re-create a wholesale site, improve a number of internal business systems and finish a B2B sales webpage. You will need to have expertise knowledge in Object-Oriented PHP and MySQL for the Magento Enterprise framework, but a Developer with expertise in other eCommerce platforms such as (Shopify, WooCommerce, Volusion, Prestashop, BigCommerce, 3dCart or X-cart) will also be considered. Your new employer is looking to upgrade to Magento Server 2/3, so understanding GraphQL and the benefits it has on PWA is key for this role. The department you will be part of - is the fastest-growing department within the whole company (40 people at the moment) - and plays a crucial role within pushing the company forward. It’s a respected team, not a service department and the company gives you the opportunity to create new models, find new technology (such as PWA) and implement your ideas. Key Responsibilities: Adhering to Zend coding standards provide an ongoing test-drive PHP development on the core Magento platform Capable of developing and doing research of Magento latest tools and technologies. Essential Skills Required: Proven Magento Enterprise/Community experience, including high traffic Magento installations and creation of custom modules Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Development (PHP).
