This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Fashion Department. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual, with at least 18 months Head Office Merchandising experience. You will be working alongside the Merchandiser in the planning and trading of the department and will also be responsible for managing an Allocator on a daily basis. Specific tasks will include: · Preparing and reviewing departmental analysis to support the planning process · Forecasting sales and stocks through effective WSSI management · Managing availability throughout the supply chain, from suppliers to stores Excellent numerical and analytical skills, combined with great organisation are essential, as are a strong commercial awareness and a passion for fashion. You will also need to demonstrate a good understanding of Excel and Word.
