Laura Ashley has an international reputation for inspirational and distinctive Home products across a range of categories: Cabinet, Upholstery, Decorating and Accessories. We are looking to recruit experienced Junior Merchandisers. However we are equally keen to hear from enthusiastic and talented Assistant Merchandisers looking for a new challenge. All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years merchandising experience gained within a High Street retailer. Experience of working in a Head Office environment is desirable. You will possess strong numerical and analytical skills, demonstrate good commercial awareness and be able to plan, organise and problem solve. Good PC skills especially in Excel are essential. The position You will join our dynamic Home team and you will be responsible for: Range planning from department level down to category and sub category Managing sales and stock, to maximise profits and minimise terminal stock including WSSI, Net Margin Phasing and directing OTB Preparing, monitoring and reviewing departmental analysis in line with company strategy Managing availability from supplier to stores, franchisees and customers Line managing up to 3 people What we offer You will gain experience working for a universally recognised brand, and you will receive training delivered by experienced and skilled professionals.
