Role: Export Administrator / Export Coordinator Salary: £20,000 to £23,000 per annum pension life assurance & health care (after period of service) 25 days’ holiday bank holidays Hours: Monday to Friday 8:45am till 5:15pm Location: Commutable from Crawley, Redhill, Guildford, Croydon, Brighton, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead and surrounding areas Company A global leader in their field are looking for an additional member to join their highly successful and growing team. They design and manufacture equipment for customers all over the world. The role would suit someone who likes to be busy and juggling a few tasks at any given time. You will be handling the work from customer communication through to getting exporting parts to them, anywhere in the world, and in a lot of cases, very swiftly. It is a role that is changing constantly with different demands and request and urgency. You will need to have a cool head and be able to prioritise. Responsibilities Once you have completed your training, this includes spending a bit of time in each different department, getting to know not only your piers but the equipment and parts as well. Only when you have done this will you will begin working in your role as Export Administrator / Coordinator. You will be trained further in their systems and processes, and be responsible for the management and coordination and delivery of parts to the end user (customer) anywhere in the world. More info; · Involved throughout the whole process from communicating with Customers/Clients and recording orders, to checking stock, liaising with supply chain and creating picking lists through to invoicing and exporting of the equipment liaising with freight companies and completing the necessary export documentation. · Managing orders coming through from various channels, including phone calls and emails. · To discuss the spares order requirements, checking data to customer’s equipment records, to ensure part descriptions and product numbers are accurately identified. · Monitoring stock levels to the computerized MRP system, to process orders fully. This includes the preparation of picking lists, despatch notes, invoicing, and export paperwork as required, liaising with accounts, logistics, stores, production and despatch staff accordingly. · Booking transport for the goods – liaising with freight forwarders. This varies according to the size of order, the dimensions of the packaged goods, the destination, and requested despatch time. · Liaising with logistics and production staff for orders which impact upon the production programme – requiring assembly and test requirements. · Taking calls on the dedicated spares line and directing to the appropriate staff within the spares and service department Requirements · Experience working in an export role, ideally within a manufacturing/engineering type industry, however other industries will be considered. · Previous experience of order processing skills and exporting overseas. · You MUST have either (or both); experience of INCO Terms / Exporting Goods OR Order Processing experience. · Confident with good communication skills to liaise with worldwide customers. · Any language ability, other than English would be desirable. · Strong computer skills, ideally with the use of ERP/MRP computer system, such as SAP or Navision. · Strong eye for details and methodical approach.
