Quality Process Safety Executive (QSHE/ Manufacturing) c£35-40k Benefits South EastRef: ABJ4717a Working for a leading chemicals organisation,as part of the Plant Team, in a quality process safety capacity as a Quality Process Safety (QSHE) Executive you will be working with the QSHE and Plant Manager helping to ensure that their production of chemicals is to set quality standards, to provide an effective support to ensure adherence to legislative and company requirements.As Quality Process Safety Executive using your experience and understanding in process engineering, chemistry, quality assurance / HSE, management systems , auditing and/or training you would support of the Site Manager, while acting as quality champion for the site’s largest customer. The site is also regulated under COMAH and EPR. Root Cause Analysis investigations are important. Principal accountabilities: Ensure production quality through regular procedure reviews. Direct contact with customers and suppliers to ensure quality compliance. Complete appropriate weekly/monthly spreadsheets. Support the Plant Manager and QHSE manager Raising purchase orders for the administrative needs on the site. Identify compliance with our ISO standards. Assist in Internal and External audits. Updating the QHSE events / incident database and tracking/analysing trends; tracking follow-ups associated with incident reporting Review draft investigation reports and actions prior to approval Assist with action development and prioritisation Work with the QHSE Specialist to prepare monthly and end of year HSSE Data Pack and tracking progress toward Safety Performance goals Conducting Incident awareness and investigation training Analysing/Assessing trends to identify improvements and update work practices/procedures and ensure compliance with regulations Responsibility for leading root cause analysis of product complaints and service deviations for their biggest consumer goods customer Qualifications and Experience Background degree or equivalent in science or engineering related field (process engineering/ chemistry / chemical engineering preferred) Experienced from a manufacturing background in Quality or QSHE or Process Safety or process engineering or Health and Safety . Experience working in a preferably in chemicals, oil and gas or FMCG company where products are manufactured onsite. Experience with quality auditing internally and externally (desirable).
