Overview
Value Stream Manager We are a leading design, development and manufacturer of complex equipment and due to continued new product development and investment we are currently looking to appoint an experienced Value Steam Manager to assist in setting up of new Value Streams within Production and integration of our lean Production System. The role of Value Stream Manager will be pivotal in initially assisting to develop the overall value streams within production / manufacturing before progressing to take on overall responsibility for your own value stream. The key remit of the role will be to manage and set priorities for the Value Steam/s to ensure optimum productivity and continuous improvement goals are met. As Value Stream Manager you will utilise your lean manufacturing expertise to: Manage and develop the Value Stream Daily management and co-ordination of activities to ensure on time delivery of quality products to budget including monitoring capacity requirements Ensuring the team resources are utilised effectively whilst pro-actively identifying and implementing improvements utilising the in house lean production system Supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) activities Promoting a safe working environment To succeed in this role you will ideally need to be HNC/D or degree qualified in an Engineering discipline (or with significant experience) with in depth lean manufacturing experience gained in Production Engineering / Production Management within an assembly manufacturing environment.
