Overview

Role: Lifting Fitter Depot: Tilbury Salary: Competitive Package (DOE) with a Bonus Scheme paid bi-annually (depending on profitability of the group and individual performance) – discussed during assessment call. Interaction Recruitment are currently working with the UK’s largest equipment hire company who specialise in a range of equipment to the construction, utilities, civil engineering and events industries. They are looking to recruit an experienced Lifting Fitter with the ability to carry out a variety of lifting equipment checks. Key Responsibilities: To diagnose faults and repair/ maintain a variety of Lifting Equipment including Chain Blocks, Genie Hoists and hydraulics Check and tag all equipment and update service records Maintain an up to date knowledge of products and full range of accessories Assist in ensuring Top 50 availability Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork Abide by customer Health & Safety rules when on site Keep workshop and vehicle (where provided) organised, clean and tidy and assist with general workshop duties as and when required. Carry out any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by management Experience Required: Lifting qualification desired (or time served) Experience servicing and maintaining lifting equipment Demonstrated experience in a similar industry Additional Information: Hours of work: 7.30 / 8.00 am – 4.30 / 5.00 pm Monday – Friday Standby/Call out rota If you are an experienced Lifting Fitter looking to excel your career through a reputable organisation, please send your application to .
