Overview
Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant The Company: Is an electronics business established in 2010. Currently experiencing an exciting growth phase, they provide their products and services to over 15,000 customers across the UK and Europe and work directly with a number of global manufacturers. The Role: Is a new role and will be to support the financial controller with a broad and varied range of accounting duties. You will assist with all aspects of weekly, monthly and annual accounting and act as backup to the Financial Accountant. Assist with the preparation of the management and financial accounts pack, including bank reconciliations, cash books, VAT returns, ledger controls and balance sheet reconciliations, incl; control accounts. Helping to produce the annual Financial Statements and consolidation reporting pack. Ad hoc duties as required. The person: graduate, part qualified studier AAT/CIMA/ACCA with at least 2 years experience ideally within a fast paced multi site business. Excellent communication skills, a team player approach, with initiative and keen to take early responsibility. Good working knowledge of Excel and Word including the use of formulae to manipulate data to produce reports. Knowledge of database reporting or basic programming is an advantage. A methodical individual with an attention to detail, comfortable working as part of a team or alone and can work to tight deadlines.
