Overview
THE ROLE: My client is looking for a Logistics and Transport Controller to join their team. They are looking for a dedicated individual with good computer, planning, communication and numeracy skills and a backrgound in logistics / transport planning / warehousing / goods received. You will work closely with customers, colleagues and drivers to effectivey plan, co-ordinate and administer deliveries and collections to your site where accuracy and timing is critical. CANDIDATE PROFILE: To apply for this role you should have: - Good experience in a relevant area: logistics, transport planning, goods received etc - Confident computer systems skills with good numeracy, able to work with numbers, paperwork and stock with high accuracy. - Microsoft Excel ability, used to working with stock reports and plans. - Good communication skills to work effectively with customers, colleagues and drivers. - Probelm solving skills; can quickly identify and resolve delivery and stock related problems. - Able to work on your own at times but also as a flexible team member.
