A category market Leader in Manufacturing and Packaging, are recruiting multiple Factory Line Technicians / Technical Operators Operating from a modern, best in class production facility, this is a superb career opportunity to provide you with a secure, structured factory operations role. Line Technician / Technical Operator (Process and Packing) Location: Nottingham Shift Working - a variety available, flexibility is required , its a 24/7 operation Reporting into the Shift Manager, this role involves line operating and running of a continuous process or FMCG packing line. Manufacturing high quality products, safely and within regulated quality standards. Responsible for safe working practices and a continuous improvement methodology. This role requires the ability to provide technical expertise in a specific area to achieve plant and production targets - you will be working a rotating shift pattern as an integral part of the factory operations team. Your contribution is extremely important to help make the highest quality products for global distribution. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: -Delivery against factory and quality SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) - Ensure delivery of production and packaging targets - On Time In Full -Control of line changeovers -To deliver production targets -Working efficiently and safely Requirements: Experience of working within a faced paced production / manufacturing environment - FMCG preferred or food and drink/ packaging / automotive/lean manufacturing background Self motivation and a desire to improve your working environment Flexible and adaptable approach to work A logical mind and appraoch to problems Ability to manage multiple priorities and face challenges Prefer NVQ Level 2 qualification mechanical aptitude, but applications taken on expereince Mechanics and ex Armed Forces trained applicants are also welcome with a view to establish a career in a manufacturing / factory-based role
