Technical Systems Manager Nottingham Up to £45k Looking for a varied technical role? Good mix of office and factory floor? The opportunity to be part of something new? You might be in a Technical role that isn't ticking the boxes and looking for a new challenge. The Technical Manager on this site is engaging, inclusive and needs a number two to work closely with to take the site to the next level technically. A few details .... The business * Food manufacturing in a strong, stable category * Progressive Senior Leadership Team * Longevity in the customer base which is varied and complex * Fantastic innovation * In a growth category The role * A mix of Technical Systems and Technical Support * Hands-on in terms of working with the QA team and being involved * Leading the Technical Systems/Support function ensuring the QMS is continually reviewed and updated * Ensure all validation documentation is in place for key risk assessments * Re-evaluating the QMS - is it fit for purpose? Does it comply with the customer codes of practice? * Working with the Senior Technical Manager for audit prep * Full adherence to internal audit schedule * Support the team on all retail customer audits What experience do you need: * Food industry experience ESSENTIAL * You will have worked in a Technical Systems role previously with good rounded Technical support capability * Strong Compliance knowledge * Able to demonstrate management and development of teams * Detailed knowledge of GMP, TACCP, HACCP and VACCP * Experience of driving improvements in systems and procedures * A confident communicator able to engage and influence others Please get in touch for more information for interviews in early June.
