Overview
TLTP are currently working with a Secondary school based in the borough of Lewisham that is recruiting for a English Teacher to join them on a permanent basis in September The successful candidate will be teaching English to KS5. You will be required to plan, deliver and mark all lessons on your timetable whilst also implementing the school ethos. As the new English Teacher your duties will include but will not be limited to; You will be required to teach the national curriculum to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students and ensure they are improving on their current grades In your role as English Teacher you will be communicating on a regular basis with parents and carers on their children's progress within your classes You must document students' progress within the English department throughout the academic year You will be required to use a wide variety of learning resources to help improve your lessons and teaching You will be required to undertake appropriate CPD training in line with school and departmental priorities The successful English Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience; You must have a degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE, QTS.
