General information Reference 000112 Publication end date 01/07/2020 Close Date 01/07/2020 Vacancy details Job Profile Administration - Administrative Roles Title English Language Exams Administrator Contract Type Permanent Job Purpose The purpose of the role is to provide administrative procedures across English Language Services Team. You will be responding to a range of queries on day to day basis and processing and supporting the set up and delivery of examinations and examinations results. Keeping clear records, driving and tracking procedures through to completion and communicating effectively to those within and outside the team will form an integral part of the role across multiple stakeholder groups. It would also be encouraged for you to actively look for opportunities to improve working procedures where possible, a good opportunity for a willing candidate to contribute to improving departmental working practice. Job Background The job will sit within the English Language team and will work to support two main areas; English Language testing and international admissions. Key Responsibilities: Act as a point of contact for all programme queries and offer excellent customer service and issue resolution Providing support in the day to day delivery of examinations and all associated administration Provide timely communication and high quality support to all relevant stakeholders To work effectively within process guidelines and policy ensuring that administrative services are standard in terms quality and are compliant Accurate record keeping in all areas of work Providing accurate reporting, updates, raising risk and policy update requirements where necessary with management Liaison, coordination and communication between internal departments and external stakeholders as necessary Supporting the various BPP teams with requests and reports Completing the process of arranging and enrolling learners onto appropriate assessments Managing the process of collating and marking assessments and uploading results to relevant systems. Monitor and respond to queries from different mailboxes Other administrative duties as and when required Department University Education Services - English Support Vacancy location Location UK, London, London Shepherd's Bush Candidate criteria Candidate Criteria Essential Prior administrative experience Excellent customer service skills Ability to manage problems and find appropriate solutions Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a team and independently Excellent IT Skills high Excel proficiency, Word, Databases, conference/web software, Salesforce, VLE) Ability to take on and learn new IT systems Excellent attention to detail Ability to understand and adhere to policy and compliance standards Desirable Educated to degree-level Experience of operational organisation including developing new systems for working and processes Experience of working in an academic environment Experience of working alongside and communicating with varied and international stakeholders Employment Details Contract Hours 37.50 FTE 1.00 Salary Competitive
