2nd Line Support Engineer - Hedge Fund - Permanent - £30,000 - £35,000 - Mayfair, London My client a Hedge Fund based in Mayfair are looking to hire a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team. You will report into the Head of Infrastructure and work across the IT department. It is a Wintel house so ideally you will have carried out a similar role with the emphasis on desk side / face to face VIP support. Zoom video calls are being held the same day and the client is looking to have someone start on Monday 6th April, so only immediately available candidates need apply for this one. Requirements: • Provide 2nd line support to VIP users, ideally from a financial services background • At least 3 years’ experience and be willing to provide exceptional customer service • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Be confident enough to answer technical questions around each of the following in an interview: Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, networks (switches), Imaging, Windows 10, SCCM, Office 365, MS Exchange, MS Teams, Skype for Business etc • Providing troubleshooting on software and hardware issues • Providing onsite and remote support to all functions and areas of the business • Identify trending issues and possible problems when performing preventative maintenance • Ensure all incidents and service requests are resolved and closed within agreed SLA’s • Setup and configure new hardware for the business If this sounds like the ideal role for you, please send through your up to date CV.
