Cyber Security Analyst - Aldgate - Up to £35K DOE Role - Cyber Security Analyst Location - Aldgate Salary - Up to £35K DOE Interviewing Immediately - Apply Now My client is currently looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to work within there IT Services team. The role is predominantly focused on information & cyber security, with occasional supporting IT Services function in a more general IT capacity. As such, the role will ideally suit someone coming from a general IT support background with broad experience of IT Security related technologies, processes & responsibilities, looking to move into a more focused security role. Your Responsibilities: - Immediate response to any new security threats or exploits, as they occur. Vulnerability testing, network management, intrusion detection and prevention plus the maintenance of IT Security in Production environments. Monitor of traffic for any unusual activity or unauthorised access attempts. They will also configure systems and ensure that network and IT security policies are adhered to. Involvement in the design, build and implementation of an organisations IT Security infrastructure and the testing of the organisations IT Security strategy. IT Security maintenance, change management, training and support: Some responsibility for change management, incorporating the administration of upgrades, patches and fixes will be involved. Essential Skills: - Up to date knowledge of IT Security hardware, software and solutions An understanding of ISO 27001/27002 standards, and the ITIL framework Practical experience using computer operating systems such as MS Windows Knowledge of Security policies - particularly Key Management policy is essential Ability to assess security architecture Active Directory and Windows Servers Administration.
