Overview

SYNLAB provides a wide range of testing capabilities from workplace drug and alcohol testing, food testing, oil and fuel testing, veterinary testing and advanced pathology services through to the most innovative molecular and genetic diagnostic tests available today. SYNLAB work closely with clinicians, hospitals, occupational health providers and clinical researchers to provide a complete pathology offering. We have a 11 month fixed-term contract for a HR Change Manager to work from our offices in London. The purpose of the role is to lead the workforce workstream of a transition programme to positively transfer multiple workforces and ensure safe transfer criteria is achieved. Other duties include: Delivery to timeframe and budget targets. Set up Year one programmes and hand-over to Head of HR. TUPE mobilisation, including identification and communication of measures, all information and consultation activities completed effectively, due diligence on staff information undertaken and payroll set up achieved on time for month one pay run, induction and culture change activities undertaken professionally, manage internal communications. Lead (and project manage) key HR initiatives and change programmes to ensure that they are delivered in accordance with agreed requirements. Desired Skills and Experience Essential MCIPD or equivalent educational achievement (Level 7) plus experience. Extensive HR generalist experience and detailed understanding of all aspects of HR Management including resourcing, talent management/succession planning, change management and employee relations. Technical expertise in employee relations. Strong analytical skills and proven understanding of human capital measurement and delivery of performance improvement interventions. Professional and commercial acumen, with strong senior level influencing and stakeholder management skills. Experience in leading, developing and delivering a change programme whilst improving employee engagement. Previous experience of TUPE, outsourcing services or mergers and acquisitions Desirable Thorough knowledge of NHS Agenda for Change. Mediation and / or coaching qualifications / experience. Trained and experienced in job evaluation and matching.
