Health Advisors / Call Handlers wanted for NHS 111 service - Barking 111 call centre. Your new company The London Ambulance Service is an NHS trust responsible for operating ambulances and answering and responding to urgent and emergency medical situations within the London region of England. The service responds to 999 and 111 phone calls, providing triage and advice to enable an appropriate level of response. It is one of the busiest ambulance services in the world, and the busiest in the United Kingdom, providing care to more than 8.6 million people, who live and work in London Your new role As a Health Advisor/call handler for the London Ambulance Service you will be responsible for ensuring that our Hear & Treat service is delivered safely, consistently and to an appropriate standard. You will answer calls related to Covid-19 and coordinate the swab testing. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be available for immediate start and have an enhanced DBS issued within the last 3 years. The role will require you to work shifts between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm Monday to Sunday. A minimum of 20 hours commitment is also needed. So this role will suit anyone looking for part time or full time work. You will also need to be available for a three day training starting Wednesday 1 st April.
