Overview
Assistant Civil Engineer working for an established civil & structural engineering consultancy Your new company Your new company is a well known civil and structural engineering consultancy with a number of offices across the North West. They have a great office in Manchester City Centre which is going through a real period of growth at the moment. The office sits at 20 engineers currently split across both civil and structural engineering. In terms of projects they work on a real variety with a lot of interesting work in the pipeline. Project spread is typically across the residential, nuclear, commercial and industrial developments Your new role In your new role you sit within a busy engineering office, working on a variety of project types. You will support the civil engineering function, working on complex highways and drainage schemes for private developments across the North. In terms of software you will on a daily basis use both civil 3D and Micro Drainage for design work. You will also be involved in section 278 / 38 agreements, What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will ideally have between 2 - 3 years experience working on highways and drainage schemes. You will need to have experience using either civil 3D and Micro Drainage and have had exposure to section 278/38 agreements.
