Job Description

" Riverside have a new opportunity for a Night Assistant, working full time, on a permanent basis. You will earn £18,135 per annum. You will be working on a rotational shift basis from Monday to Sunday. Who you'll be helping Rochdale Road is a shelter for female rough sleepers in Manchester. What will you do? The Night Assistant will work across a defined geographical area assisting in the delivery of a high quality support, security and housing service to the clients of our supported Schemes. Day to day Your usual responsibilities as a Rochdale Road Night Assistant will include: • Implementing night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the scheme. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness within schemes, preparation of rooms and site inspections. • Effective recording of information including adding updates to the Support database and Housing Management database. • Assisting service users with day-to-day tenancy issues, payment of rent and other scheme requirements. • Contributes to the stock control, purchasing and storage of consumables required by the service For a deeper understanding of your responsibilities, take a look at the job description linked below. You demonstrate an optimistic, flexible and non-judgemental approach and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds. You have experience working with vulnerable client groups. You have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
