Project Accountant (H2020) | Private Research Market-Leader | £34,000-£40,000 | London I am hugely excited to be recruiting an Project Accountant for one of the most impactful private research enterprises in the UK that help to tackle some of humanities biggest social and environmental challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value within a prosperous and growing business in a role that will enable you to support/take responsibility of the reporting as well as business partner extensively across the business. Core duties include: Project Accounting for the numerous (EC) Horizon 2020 campaigns Support the Finance Manager with grant budgeting for the various projects Business partner into the various project managers providing key finance reporting and analysis as well as on-going financial/cost control advice The provision of timely and accurate Horizon 2020 claims submissions Maintaining timesheets for the project managers and research team Assist in the collation of information for audits and assisting with audit queries Checking all travel expenses claimed by project managers and staff In order to be considered for this opportunity you be a part-qualified Accountant and will need have worked within a Contracts/Grants/Project/Research Accounting position before with practical experience of accounting for European Commission/Horizon 2020 grants.
