Overview
Our client is a large reputable organisation based in Central Birmingham. They are looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join their team and be responsible for multi-site accounts and reporting on temp to permanent basis. Job purpose: To provide a highly professional management accounting, financial support and business partnering service to relevant business divisions, directorates and/or functions. To provide the relevant divisions, directorates and/or functions with any relevant financial management information and support required for effective operational oversight and decision-making Responsibilities will include : Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts , reconciliations and other management information , along with associated analysis and explanation of the underlying business drivers for the relevant budget holders (e.g. P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, financial compliance / controls, key driver metrics, KPIs) Support relevant budget holders in the production (and presentation where necessary) of their annual budget submissions, ensuring they are accurate and in accordance with wider business targets. Also ensuring the budget submissions are in accordance with relevant timelines and submission criteria. Support relevant budget holders in the production (and presentation where necessary) of their quarterly forecast submissions, ensuring they are accurate and reasonable. Provide excellent customer service in delivering financial support, insight, business partnering and challenge. Both proactively and in response to the division's, directorate's and/or function's requirements.
