Lead Games Programmer / C++ Software Developer (Computer Science Algorithm Data). As a Lead Games Programmer you'll make an impact from the start and will play a key role in developing all future games. You'll guide brand new features from prototype design through to technical realities; engineering robust, reusable systems that underpin all their games. In this Lead Games Programmer role there will be a continually strong pipeline of projects; you'll work across the full development lifecycle, liaising with teams across the business to clarify requirements, produce planning for mission critical systems and produce supporting documentation, to optimise workflow and ensure projects are on track. You'll focus on C++ development utilising Unreal Engine 4 to create VR / Augmented Reality applications, so you'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity by creating expressive characters, innovative game mechanics, and smooth responsive control systems. Requirements: You have strong experience as a C++ Developer You have experience working across the full development lifecycle You have good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, e.g. OOP, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Data Structures You're a positive team player and first rate communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with teams across the business Ideally you'll have games development experience / knowledge of Unreal Engine 4, VR / AR (true passion for games and games technology more valuable than experience) You want to apply your specialist C++ skills to games development As a Lead Games Programmer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £70k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
