Test Lead - Insurance, SDLC, QTP/Selenium, Load Runner, Vender Management & SQL Queries This role will: Primarily Lead and manage testing efforts of data migration project(s) Review all testing deliverables produced by FTE/Vendor staff Manage communication, collaboration and co-operation amongst FTE/Vendor staff Work with leads of Business, DEV and Operations teams to manage dependencies and risks pertaining to project's testing efforts Provide timely testing metrics and data points to key project stakeholders in support of informed decision-making process Learn and build a strong knowledge base in IT application IRIS Test Lead - Insurance, SDLC, QTP/Selenium, Load Runner, Vender Management & SQL Queries Secondarily: Support setup of Test Framework, Practices, Guides, Templates and setup governance controls to ensure compliance by vendors and project teams Support Operations and Improvement initiatives of Testing Practice Create project specific Test Strategy by referring to Data Migration Master Test Strategy Collaborate with FTE/Vendor staff to estimate Testing Efforts and create a Test Plan Collaborate with PM/PMO to integrate Test Plan into overall Project Plan Evaluate and on-board FTE/Vendor testing staff for project Communicate, Collaborate and Co-ordinate day to day testing activities by FTE/Vendor staff Requirements gathering and analysis Test scenario/cases creation Automated test script creation Review test scenarios/cases/scripts Execute test scenarios/cases/scripts Analyse test execution results Report observations and/or defects Own defect lifecycle management Create test status reports Create and socialize project's testing metrics and dashboards Conduct Domain, Application and Testing trainings, workshop sessions for FTE/Vendor Staff Create project testing's lessons learned/retrospective documentation Identify gaps in current testing processes, practices and take corrective actions Encourage and support innovation to improve testing effectiveness and efficiencies Attend internal/external training/certification sessions to up-skill domain and technical knowledge Determine required outcomes for learning or development, as per the strategies and agreed career pathways Test Lead - Insurance, SDLC, QTP/Selenium, Load Runner, Vender Management & SQL Queries Skills: 6 years of Testing experience with 2 years in Lead position 4 years of Insurance Domain experience 2-4 years of hands-on experience with IRIS and/or 2-4 years of Lloyds work experience (Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related STLC and deep understanding of all testing types (Functional and Non-Functional) Hands on experience with Test Automation using Selenium, UFT, ReadyAPI/Soap UI and Performance testing using LoadRunner RDBMS concepts and ability to write SQL Queries Experience: Must have experience in Insurance domain (Workers Compensation, Lloyds business) Must have experience creating and executing test strategy around migration projects (data and document) Experience with IRIS application (Preferred) Experience working with geographically dispersed teams (Onsite-Offshore-Nearshore) QTP and/ or Selenium, ReadyAPI and/or Soap UI and LoadRunner Working both independently and collaboratively with various teams and global stakeholders (Business, Analysts/ Architects/ Support/ Development / Business) in waterfall/agile environments Creating and presenting project metrics to management Test Lead - Insurance, SDLC, QTP/Selenium, Load Runner, Vender Management & SQL Queries Permanent Guildford £80,000 Excellent benefits and bonus Great opportunity to join a market leader who will listen to new ideas has a collaborative approach and is at the top of their game.
