Do you have excellent attention to detail and a customer-oriented approach to your work? Are you skilled in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders? If so, then this could be the role for you. Imperial College London is looking for a Donor Relations Manager to lead its donor stewardship programme ensuring it supports and complements divisional and College goals. Working closely with colleagues at all levels, you will need excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships. The Supporter Engagement Team comprises three strands of work; Development Events, Development Communications and Donor Relations. The post holder manages the donor relations and stewardship strand and has two direct reports. Duties and responsibilities Managing a small team, you will ensure an exceptional standard of delivery in a fast-paced environment. As well as the chance to work with colleagues from all parts of the College, you will: collaborate with fundraisers to create bespoke stewardship plans for major and principal donors lead on complex stewardship and recognition projects involving multiple stakeholders and / or working closely with senior leadership develop a system of metrics that demonstrate the value of stewardship and its role in cultivating repeat philanthropy provide best practice advice and guidance to fundraisers on stewardship activities that maximise interactions with prospects and donors, building loyalty and engagement with Imperial Essential requirements You will have an excellent understanding and knowledge of donor relations principles and best practice, and how to apply these to high-impact donor relations initiatives. Calm and confident, you will have political acuity and an ability to manage expectations whilst bringing projects to successful conclusions.
