Overview
My client is an international brand with one simple aim; to transform lives. By informing and empowering people in the choices they have and can make, they work across the globe to fundamentally change the conversations going on at the very top levels of government and grass roots of society. This role would work within the UK business. Key responsibilities: Lead the donor finance team in supporting all financial aspects of a project’s life-cycle. Act as key business partner to the SLT on donor compliance, new business and international operations. Oversee the cost proposal development process, ensuring competitive and sustainable cost proposals are submitted. Oversee all areas of donor compliance including procurement, legal, expenses and asset management. Provide training and support to a team of 9. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of donor regulations, including DFID, EU and private foundation grants. With a strong understanding of compliance, contracts and governance you will be a fully qualified accountant with an INGO background. A proven decision maker, you will be able to take the initiative on identifying problems and coming up with creative solutions. Excellent inter-personal skills are essential for this role.
