My client is a global organisation well recognised within digital transformation and enterprise content management industry with an aim to eventually move into the RPA market. They are looking for someone that matches their ambitions and can help them evolve as a business. Your role as a Lead Software Engineer; Managing and working alongside a team of Software Engineers, some of whom will be based across the country so must have experience of managing such a team before. You will be working in a highly pressured environment where working towards strict deadlines is the day-to-day so must be able to work well in such an environment. Working in an agile environment you will be responsible for planning projects by priority and deadlines. Being a mentor towards more junior members of staff ensuring they have the support required and assisting where necessary. As the lead software engineer you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. What you need to be a Lead Software Engineer; At least 2 years' experience working in a similar role. Previously experience of working with geographically spread teams. A Degree in a relevant or related field. You will have experience of working with Java, JavaScript and Python. Highly skilled with HTML, CSS and JQuery. Excellent communications skill both written and verbal English. Experience designing, developing and maintaining REST interfaces. Proven record of handling a project from start to finish.
