Overview
Due to an internal promotion, this is an opportunity for a Group Reporting Manager to join a fast growth, FTSE 250 Property business based in Central London. Despite a challenging market, the business has continually overachieved their profit target, positively impacting their share price. With the business going through their next phase of growth, this is an exciting time to be joining, enabling the business to strengthen their position further in the market. This role will report to the Head of Group Reporting, with exposure to working with senior management across the business including the Group CFO, Group FC, IR & Strategy Director and Group CEO. You will be working in a fast paced, driven environment and will be an integral member of the Group Reporting team. The role will be responsible for managing the entire reporting process for the business, including partnering with regional divisions to not only look to improve processes but drive these changes forward. Responsibilities will include: Working with the Property, Legal and Joint Venture divisions to produce statutory accounts Partner with senior stakeholders to assess the commercial impact on the business from a lease accounting perspective Responsible for producing the half year and year end statements Supporting and developing two junior members Continuously looking at ways to improve processes throughimplementation and enhancement of the reporting system You will be an ACA qualified accountant with at least three years’ post qualified experience in practice or industry. You must possess excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with the wider finance team, stakeholders across the business and senior management. Prior knowledge and experience of working with IFRS standards is essential. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and an individual who thrives under pressure and through working tight deadlines is key.
