IT Business Analyst Must have Housing background The role is paying up to £450 per day (out of scope of IR35) and will be 1 Month Rolling contract. Two days a week only Monday and Tuesday working on site. Must have SQL reporting and extraction skills. Your new role Your role will is to develop and extend the efficient and effective use of the Group's strategic business systems and interfaces and improve the business processes and procedures. Review existing business processes and procedures ('As Is'), propose and implement new ('To Be'), and more efficient and effective, methods of working as a complete business solution. Identify opportunities for improvement by analysing systems and technology use, emerging business requirements and market developments. You will be working closely with the Business Systems Support team in the interpretation of business requirements for the configuration & development of the Group's evolving strategic systems, e.G. MS Dynamics CRM. Manage systems development projects in accordance with company standards and assist the business and IT department in raising project performance by recommending and implementing good practices. What you'll need to succeed Deliver clear, concise and accurate user stories detailing customer or user interactions, data flow (and origin) and system interactions to support development. Constructively challenge requirements and priorities to support the business in maximising benefit from projects in an environment of continual change. Participate in project planning ensuring requirements / project dependencies and phasing are correctly understood and reflected in delivery plans. Work with Group Members and other staff to fully understand their business plans, objectives and drivers and identify where systems and technology can help them improve their services Support Group Members to identify new technology and business solutions. Understand and fully document new requirements for solutions including software and hardware and work with Group Members to develop their business cases and gain approval for the project to proceed being accountable for the quality, validity and relevance of the business case. Provide a proactive link between member organisations, the IT department and third parties to successfully support systems and deliver systems and technology projects. Work with IT trainers and colleagues to create, develop and provide appropriate training for Group Staff in order to help them get the most from the systems and solutions you support and develop. Provide advice and guidance and mentor less experienced staff in business systems analysis techniques. Proactively identify opportunities for improvements in process, services, systems and technology and lead to bring these changes to happen. Map and analyse business processes, recommending improvements and advising on changes required to make best use of available technologies. Assist in the selection process for new solutions observing company policy and where appropriate external legislation (e.G. OJEU procurement) Support and maintain the Group's strategic systems interfaces as part of the IT development team, including provision of ad hoc reports as requested and participating in user groups. Proactively lead (Accountable for recognising problems, devising solutions and guiding the Agency Services Coordinator December 2015 business on their resolution) the process to resolve data quality issues. Assist with the administration, configuration and migration/population of information into the Group's strategic business systems to support the business as required. Lead (accountable for) the installation and upgrading of the Group's strategic business systems at all sites as assigned, including any routine software upgrading.
