iPeople are currently recruiting for a Experienced Social Worker within a Referral and Assessment Team within Greater London. A Locum role Paying up to £35. In Kingston and Richmond we provide services through a cluster delivery model which places us in the heart of our communities and enables closer working with partner agencies. Signs of Safety is our model of practice and through this we offer group supervision and case reflections. We are in need of a short term experienced manager to take up our Head of Service role in the Referral & Assessment team in our North East Cluster which works with families in both Kingston and Richmond. Referral & Assessment Team We are the team who undertake all of the initial assessments with our children who are referred through our Single Point of Access. We respond to child protection concerns and initiate Initial CP conferences, we complete thorough assessments which inform the next steps. This can be to offer advice and guidance, short term support as a child in need, to step over to family support colleagues and in some situations may mean seeking legal support and entering proceedings. What ever we do, we do as a team. You will be supported by your line manager but also from being able to seek peer support through group supervision and informal discussions. Caseloads are low when comparing to other London Boroughs which means you have time to make a difference.
