Overview

I have an excellent opportunity for a part time Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Specialist for the EU and UK markets to join a major FMCG company based on the Slough Trading Estate. £400 per day On-site parking 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) 1 year contract 24 hours minimum a week - the client is willing to offer full time hours for the right candidate The role: Responsible to ensure compliance (of raw materials, labelling, including the validation of of all claims, marketing text, artwork review, nutrition and packaging) with EU regulations. Assist with product registrations as needed. Responsible for providing risk assessments for proposed regulatory, recipe, and packaging changes. The role works closely with the global Scientific and Regulatory Affairs team (US based) and supply chain activity managers (EU based). Due to the global nature of the business, project meetings may occur in varied time zones and there is an expectation that the contractor will be flexible with working hours (within reason). Proven experience/knowledge of EU food regulations and ability to clearly communicate the requirements to the project team. Food label creation, claims evaluation and artwork review experience required.
