Overview
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a well established business within their assembly workshop. The role is varied and will involve a range of mechanical and electrical assembly work. The business is relatively small but is very successful and has a number of high profile, well known clients. The office has a friendly, family feel and someone who enjoys feeling like a valued member of a team will get on well. The Role This is a busy assembly role within a small team. The majority of the work will be based around the mechanical assembly of customer products using hand tools and machinery. Some tasks will involve basic electrical installs and CNC operating although training will provided. You will be exposed to a range of materials including wood, metal and plastics and be able to developed skills within a range of practical assembly tasks. The Ideal Candidate To do well in this role you need to be someone who is practically minded and enjoys using their hands to assemble and build high quality products. As you will be working within a small team you need to be able to pick up new skills quickly and communicate well with colleagues. Someone with a proactive attitude and willingness to support others will fit well within this team.
