Overview
We are representing a long-established international insurer and clear market leader in its field. Based from prestigious city centre offices, their Manchester operation focuses on delivering insurance solutions via a diverse panel of brokers throughout the UK. Due to internal promotion we are recruiting an Assistant Underwriter to join their experienced team. Dealing with both insurer and broking partners your role will involve policy administration, logging quotes, gathering information and dealing with broker queries. Working across a broad range of construction and engineering business your role will be varied and you gain invaluable exposure to branch underwriting activity. Ideally you will have experience gained in commercial insurance, though out client is open to consider candidates from either insurer or broker backgrounds. To be successful in this role it is essential that you are a confident communicator, able to work with high levels of attention to detail and a flexible approach.
