Overview
CAD Technician - Cookstown - £26K The Company: Environmental engineering experts specialising in water purification, water recycling, power conservation and distribution solutions. Provides specialist services to the water / power industries worldwide. The Role: · Production of CAD layout and general assembly drawings for client approval · Production of fabrication drawings using AutoCAD / Plant 3D / Revit · Manage and issue drawing registers and current revision drawings to project teams · Attend regular project design and site meetings. · Liaise with, process engineers, electrical engineers and ICA Engineers on projects · Comply with all ISO Quality & Environmental policies and procedures, and all H&S rules. · Enjoy the full life cycle of a project from initial specification to commissioning Essential: · Mechanical engineering qualification (HNC/HND or similar experience) · 2 years’ experience in a similar mechanical design role · Working within a multidisciplinary design team · Experience using 3D Modelling software · Innovative approach to work Desired: · Experience using one of the following AEC software such as: Revit, Plant 3D, Civils 3D, Inventor, Solidworks. · Previous experience of multidiscipline projects preferably within the Mechanical/Electrical Engineering sector. · Knowledge of BS1192 / PAS1192 standards Benefits: · 30 days holidays per year · Monday - Friday 0800-1630 · Company pension · Death in service benefit · Corporate Gym Membership For more information about the role, please call Karen Nicholson at NI Resourcing, or send your CV through the link provided
