Overview

Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator Up to £25,000 DOE We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator for a permanent role with a truly excellent organisation in Edinburgh. Applicants must be highly experienced in purchase ledger, cash book, invoice management and have great experience in assisting a Financial Controller and other senior finance colleagues with all other ad hoc tasks. Key areas of responsibility will include: - Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders. - Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger - Reconciliation of supplier statements - Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques - Process business expense returns, credit cards & petty cash Financial reporting - Bank reconciliation - Balance sheet reconciliations - Cashflow forecast & reporting - Overhead Analysis of certain budget Accounts - Create Journals to move expenses in different costs - End of Period reports Other general duties will also include: - Carry out all duties to agreed company standards and within the required timeframes - Maintain a professional and customer focused approach - Active cooperation with colleagues across the company - Attendance and participation at all relevant company meetings - Compliance with all relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures - Compliance with the Quality department and all relevant policies and procedures - Compliance with all relevant Environmental policies and procedures - Any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by the company Your CV must clearly demonstrate your experience in these areas for your consideration for this position.
