We are looking for a medical secretary to start ASAP Location : Withington Community Hospital, Nell Lane, Manchester M20 2LR Department: Urology Band:3 - £9.63 per hour Contract Type: Temporary Hours of work 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm What will your duties and responsibilities be? Routine processing of letters, reports and materials ensuring Trust and departmental deadlines are met Responsible for the timely processing of referrals, involving the prioritising by medical staff and ensuring that the 2/52 cancer target is met where appropriate Arranging urgent admissions ensuring all appropriate records are available Telephone triage Arranging meetings and diary management, this may include junior medical staff Monitoring and maintaining waiting lists in conjunction with the waiting list clerks Skills we are looking for: Clear communication skills via phone and face to face Microsoft Office knowledge Excellent audio typing skills Experience of medical terminology PA experience/ secretarial skills essential What perks are we offering in return? 1st choice of over 4,200 placements - your dedicated consultant can book your placements today Work this week, get paid next - get paid the following Friday when you release your timesheets by 23:59 on a Sunday Get paid to take holiday - Holiday is accrued during every shift you work.
