Bar Steward (Part-Time 14.75 hours) x2 Clyde, Faslane Naval Marine Salary £20,993 (pro rata) About the role As one of our Bar Stewards you will be required to provide a high level of customer service to our Serving Military Personnel, working in one of the 3 different bars we have here at HMNB Clyde. Our Bars are open seven 7 days a week; 365 days a year, and it's the Bar Stewards responsibility to promote a welcoming environment to our customers throughout this time. You will be required to set-up the bar ready for service, carry out cellar duties, stock replenishment and cash handling, whilst maintaining a clean & tidy environment throughout. What do I need to do the role? You will ideally have previous experience gained within a hospitality, leisure or retail background, but this is not essential. You will have a passion for delivering great customer service, be an effective communicator with high attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. You will also have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and well-developed interpersonal and team working skills. SVQ level 2 in bar service or equivalent, along with a basic food hygiene certificate is advantageous. What else do I need to know? This role is based at HM Naval Base Clyde, located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.
