Overview
Software Development Engineer A leading company operating within the Aerospace and Defence sector are seeking a number of Software Development Engineers to join their team. Our client is involved and committed to a number of long-term, high profile contracts and because of this, need to grow their headcount. These are full time permanent positions offering an excellent work environment and fantastic benefits package (including relocation allowance). Role Responsibilities Reporting weekly status updates to Scrum Master. Design and implement software into an existing product Update and upgrade of existing system. Successfully porting new updates and upgrades to brand new hardware. Communication to stakeholders about risks and mitigation plans. Skills and Experience Required •Full Software Development Life Cycle experience •Knowledge of DOORS •C++ •Java •Python •Experienced in an Agile development framework •Ability to scope projects at requirements stage through to test •Software Assurance •Developing processes for Continuous Improvement •HCI or MMI experience Due to the industry sector, applicants must have current security clarence or be eligible to obtain security clearance.
