Software Developer - Graduate We are searching for a Software Developer - Graduate IT at RSM We have an eye on the future. Our team is constantly looking for innovative IT solutions that will help our firm become even more efficient, and keep us at the forefront of financial services software. This is an opportunity to join a national IT department in a large, technologically advanced financial service firm. Whether you join us in Software Development, Applications or Infrastructure, you’ll be involved in varied and challenging projects, with the opportunity to collaborate across teams. Not only will you be working with experienced, knowledgeable and approachable colleagues, you will be working with the latest versions of Microsoft technologies. What does the Software team do? The Software Team is responsible for developing web applications across the firm. We are made up of 3-4 project teams ranging from developing small, ad-hoc applications to large, enterprise solutions. We encourage fluidity so you will work on a wide variety of different projects that will challenge and stretch you and, ultimately, further your career. What can you expect? What we look for A talented, proactive and enthusiastic graduate looking to work within small teams in a dynamic, cutting edge IT department. You’ll need to be comfortable working under pressure and communicating with staff at all levels. Technically, you should have a working knowledge of: C# (or similar e.g. Java) ASP.NET (or equivalent) SQL Server (or any other DBMS) We also use agile methodologies to manage our many and varied projects. Entry requirements Five or more GCSEs at grade C or above (included at least a B in Maths and English Language) and a minimum of a 2:1 expected or obtained in your degree with a keen and proven interest in IT.
