The Role: We are looking for a skilled HR Advisor with a specialism in and excellent understanding of employee relations to join our HR team in Park Royal. The role will be focused around high-volume ER casework, to support the current HR Advisor. You will be responsible for providing high quality employee relation advice to managers and dealing with variety of complexity of cases. As the HR Advisor, you will report directly into the HR Manager working with HR team to provide a first-class HR service and you will support different areas and travel to our various branches across the UK. Key Responsibilities: Acting as first point of contact for all employee relation issues; provide advice to managers on disciplinary, grievances, absence management, capability and other employee relations matters as well as working on various projects. Key point of contact for line managers for issue resolution, providing guidance and support on performance improvement and redundancy processes Coach, advice and guide managers and employees with regards to HR policy queries. Build a strong, trusting relationship with stakeholders, operation team and HR colleagues Supporting the HR Manager with Projects and KPI’s Answering and responding to queries or problems managers have and managing their expectations Our Requirements: Graduate level education or equivalent Working towards a professional qualification in HR or evidence of career development activities. 2 years of HR Advisory experience and preferably multisite experience. Thorough knowledge of Employment Law and understanding of current human resources management concepts and practices. Completely trustworthy, able to deal with confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Work well in an fast-paced environment Experience of working in hospitality is desirable Knowledge of HR systems Previous experience in checking Right to Work documents Dedicated and experienced HR Advisor who is ready to make a real contribution to our team Strong project management and organisational skills, with good attention to detail Ability and confidence to lead mentor and influence people across business Sound knowledge of UK employment law and good HR practice Be proactive, great attention to detail and have a can-do approach Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines Be able to support the team Someone who wants to get out there and meet the people who make our company great Interpersonal skills and being a team player are absolute musts, as you will work with a number of people at all levels across the business.
