Overview

My client is an exciting young Fibre Network supplier who supply ultra fast broadband to customers across London in the commercial market. They have been growing their large network across the city and are developing new plans to open up their network to a greater number of customers across the capital. They are a rapidly growing company, working at a rate of 200 new streets per month and will be building up to 500 Streets per month, making them one of the fastest growing Fibre networks in the UK. They employ over 200 members of staff and are looking to double that this year. They have a great reputation in the market and are working alongside councils, landlords, businesses and residents in London to help minimise disruption while building their network. They are currently looking for a Head of Scheduling to programme manage the planning and scheduling on Major Civils works across the London Boroughs. This is a excellent opportunity to be part of one of the largest Utilities Infrastructure builds in the UK. Leading a team of expert schedulers and planners who will be working in partnership with the local boroughs. You will also be responsible for building relationships with senior Stakeholders including local authorities, senior community groups and councillors. You will be responsible for organising the work plans, ensuring there is little to no conflict with other Utilities and prioritising the streets the sales and marketing teams feel would be beneficial. You will need to have experience of working on major works within large cities. Requirements: ·Previous Head of Scheduling / Programme Manager experience ·Previous experience on Major Civil Engineering works ·Good IT Skills ·Excellent relationship skills and previous Stakeholder engagement experience ·Primavera P6 experience (Desirable) ·Utilities experience (Desirable) ·Telecoms Experience (Desirable) The role is based in London and comes with a £60,000 base salary bonus and a large benefits package that includes: ·33 days holiday ·Pension ·Health Cash Plan ·Life Insurance ·Additional holiday for Charity work
