We are now looking to recruit a Logistics Foreman to join the team at our Trident Park Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), working 45 hours a week Monday to Friday. What will you be doing? The Logistics Foreman will ensure that frontline drivers and loaders drive and operate vehicles and plant to the greatest profitability and efficiency to instructions from the Logistics Office in accordance with legal requirements, company policy and customer demands. You'll provide driving cover where necessary and train other drivers on how to maximise fleet efficiency and minimise costs within the parameters of current Logistics legislation. The Logistics Foreman will ensure the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the collection fleet in conjunction with the Logistics office. Additionally, you will ensure all vehicles are compliant and defects booked in to be rectified if possible. What do you need? Thorough knowledge of current legislation of LGV vehicles Knowledge of Drivers Working Regulations, Drivers Hours Experience of driving LGV vehicles in a commercial environment Tachograph / Digital smart card operation Ability to work under pressure, often with conflicting deadlines Proven track record of delivering commercial targets LGV licence (LGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence) Full CPC National for road transport IOSH managing safely or equivalent Full driving licence What can Viridor offer you?
