Overview
THE COMPANY: Brewster Partners are excited to be working with a global engineering business in Sheffield in recruiting a Purchasing Assistant to join their established team. Excellent location, free parking, close to M1 links and easily accessible via public transport. THE JOB: You will have experience in a similar Purchasing Assistant role, ideally within the engineering industry although this isn't essential. Duties & Responsibilities include: Data mining & analysis of external spend from the purchasing systems to support RFQ process Collating Purchasing spend data by use of dashboards with breakdown to supplier and product category Producing & updating monthly commercial statistics and graphs Monitoring & reporting on key supplier services in line with agreed SLA's Raising purchase orders using the purchasing systems Entering receipts into the purchasing system ensuring accuracy to match invoices and deal with any issues raised THE PERSON: The successful candidate will have strong numerical and analytical skills with emphasis on a high attention to detail and accuracy. A team player who is self-driven with a flexible approach to work.
