Product Owner - 6 month initial contract - Glasgow - SC Clearance Your new company My public sector client are currently recruiting for a Product Owner who holds SC Clearance. The successful candidate can expect to work with a number of UK government departments and agencies, delivering bespoke bleeding edge products into a top secret environment. Your new role You will engage with users to identify needs and understand the problem they're trying to solve. You will provide product leadership and consultancy to both internal and external teams, making sure that your products are fit for purpose. You will manage multiple products that are especially complex, high risk or sensitive. You will develop and own product roadmaps with input from users and key stakeholders. You will take an active role in the leadership of the product, working alongside the technology leads to support the adoption of agile methodologies and a DevOps way of working. You will own and actively manage product backlogs with input from relevant technical leads, and utilising tolls such as Jira and Confluence. What you'll need to succeed You will have practical experience of agile ways of working to deliver products or services. You will have a practical understanding of the development lifecycle utilising agile techniques. You will have experience in implementing and using agile tools and techniques for managing products and backlogs e.g. Jira, Confluence. You will have experience of designing operational processes for the running and maintenance of products or services throughout their lifecycle. You will have practical experience in being able to plan, execute and complete programmes or projects.
