PRODUCT MANAGER (NON-FOOD) Matthew Algie have been producing sustainable premium quality coffee for over 150 years. We kick started the UK Espresso revolution introducing the UK's first Fairtrade Espresso bean and Triple Cert bean. We have an exciting opportunity within our Espresso Warehouse business for a Non-Food Product Manager. Key Responsibilites: Non Food Portfolio Strategy and development International Portfolio Control (NPD - New product development) International Portfolio Management New Innovation/Category Development Product compliance - languages, declarations, etc. (with support of technical department) EW Training and Communication Team work, development and cross functional working Administration, as required Qualifications/Skills required : Essential: Must be significantly experienced in product management i.e. working in a Product Manager role for at least 3-5 years This is a key role in the evolution of EW and experience of working within foodservice or cafe bar industry will be integral to our speedy success. Must have a drive to succeed and willingness to make a positive difference Must have hands on mentality and willingness of change to drive business Desirable: A marketing qualification or a marketing backgroundA coffee background and is interested in the sectoran interest in coffee/tea brewing equipment and hardware Skills / Knowledge: Requires advanced project management skills/experience Capability with key software programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Logical and analytical - someone who knows how to problem solve Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
