NATHALIE is a new café/deli in Mayfair that serves healthy, delicious and seasonally-led food-to-go. Alongside our beautiful salads and superb coffee, our beautifully-designed flagship store sells unusual wines and spirits, artisan olive oil and high-end biscuits to name a few items. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the team. The successful candidate will: · cook with some of the finest, high quality ingredients to prepare dishes for the menu offer · work with a changing and evolving seasonal menu focused on healthy eating · plan menus including design and cost recipes · determine appropriate ingredients and individual serving sizes for each recipe · ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of an efficient, cost effective and safe food service and product, correctly managing and leading the kitchen operation What we expect: · a natural leader, skilled in managing and training staff · exceptional service standards and attention to detail · ability to work directly with the development team to maintain high levels of service and quality · an understanding of food and nutrition and the source of ingredients · understanding food cost, budgeting and P&L · excellent organisation and communication skills · to be experienced and trained in food safety and health and safety · experience and understanding of stock management IT software.
