Please note your application can not be progressed unless you include your current employer details in your CV As a Clinical Lead Nurse you will manage, monitor and oversee all aspects of clinical and personal care within a delightful purpose-built luxury care home. You will provide effective leadership and direction to care and nursing staff and will ensure care documentation is up to date, using a person-centred approach to fully meet resident's needs. Competitive company benefits Responsibilities for the Clinical Lead: To be actively involved in the individual's care and helping to plan this care. Ensure key workers have completed all assessments within 24 hours of admission and all care plans are completed within 3 days of admission. Ensure that key workers have evaluated and reviewed all care plans at least monthly or when changes occur. Clinical lead to oversee all nursing residents care including implementing and reviewing all nursing care plans. Monitor the performance of all nursing and care staff and take the necessary action to manage poor performance, e.g. attendance issues, conduct and behaviour issues. Ensure the residents' care is of the highest quality by actively leading the shift and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Liaise with Manager if changes are required in any procedures to ensure the smooth running of the Home and highest quality care is maintained. To provide physical and personal care when needed. Ensuring call bells are answered promptly. Adopt a clinical management approach which is supportive, energetic, enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative and support the clinical team to create an environment that is stimulating and supportive to individuals. Ensure that staff implement policies and procedures and work collaboratively with the Multi-disciplinary team and service manager. Ensure residential residents are referred to the District Nursing team with regard to dressings, tissue viability etc. Skills and Experience Three years post-registration experience, with evidence of on-going continuing professional development. Working knowledge of Health & Social Care Act 2008 and National Minimum Standards. Excellent organisation, administrative, written and verbal skills. Demonstrable leadership and management skills. Excellent IT skills. Training experience. Ability to source evidence-based practice/best practice guidance. Clinical skills as specified by the Head of Care. Requirements: Valid NMC Pin Clear DBS Authorised to work in the EEC A Registered General Nurse or Mental Health Qualification. Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices.
